So on the side I've been seeing what Goodreads challenges I could achieve without going out of my way, especially if it was a book I already owned or one I wanted to read or one that was on my to-read list anyway (e.g. to complete a series). Out of the 9 winter challenges I read 7, not bad.I also got through 7 for our own BINGO read, though no BINGO's yet.
Started planning for the Spring challenge, at least the ones they uncovered so far.

12 books done, so nearly halfway. I seem to always read books in such an order that even at the halfway point I still haven't gotten a single BINGO yet.

13 now, still no completed rows or columns. But I do have one column that hasn't even been started - the N column.
I just discovered that I still have the Published in 2026 slot left to fill! I thought I'd finished, but I guess not! On to a new book!

Farmer in the Sky is the 16th book for this year's Bingo, and it completes the number 1 row. This is the only row or column completed so far.
I'm up to 16 books now too, and no BINGO's yet. You'd think one year I wouldn't max out the number of books you can have before you get one BINGO, its not like I do this on purpose LOL

The maximum number of books you can read without completing any rows or columns is 20, so 17 (at minimum) is a good effort.
The Necromouser and Other Magical Cats is the 18th book in my Bingo. So far I have completed rows 1 and 5, and column I.
Out of curiosity, how do people interpret the tree prompt? My current book has a taller dead tree stump in the fore and then a few dead but standing trees in the background? Would those count or are we mainly thinking living trees lol?
Didn't say "live tree" so a dead tree would totally count in my mind.
I'd go with any kind of tree - alive or dead or branches...

The completion of The Freeland Vendetta finished the N column. That's 2 rows - 1 and 5 - and 2 columns - I and N. 4 books to go, so every book I finish will complete a row or column.
Alright starting to get some BINGOs, my row 4 is completed with an orange cover.I have 7 more books to go. The alternate form one will be an Elric graphic novel, and the translated will be a manga so those will be quick to get through, and the Duo one I might have already read something that fits, its not what I envisioned but its still a duo...so at the moment not worried about being able to finish.
Two more books completed - The Trojan Comet: An Apocalyptic Invasion and Cyberpunk 2077: Library Edition, Volume 1 - leaves me with only 2 slots to fill - Gothic and New Author.
