The repetition between the end of chapter 8 and the beginning of chapter 9 is intentional —
it highlights the moment when the children realize that the jungle is a living being,
with its own voice and spirit.

Some experiences return like an echo — especially the ones that change us from within.
I wanted that moment to resonate a second time, gently and quietly, like the heartbeat of the forest.

I’m truly glad the story spoke to both the child’s heart and the adult’s one.
