I'm teaching this book now, in 2026. Interesting to find this, as I read at Shaman Drum with Rick (thanks). We stayed connected, with big gaps covering years. He wrote a book on riding motorcycles all over the country and in Europe. It never got published. He also wrote more poems, some of which were published in good places (Colorado and Missouri Rev). We were writing emails to each other in the middle 2010s (he sent me several new poems). I learned he died when I hadn't heard from him for a while and went searching for him. I'm going to try to publish some of his later poems in The Glacier.
