Hello!I'm a 17-year-old reader from Chakan, Pune. I started reading when I was in Senior KG, and books have been a huge part of my life ever since. Over the years, I've built a personal library of more than 150 books and have read over 300 books across various genres.
Unfortunately, due to my current financial situation, I can no longer afford to buy books regularly. There are also no accessible libraries near where I live, but my love for reading remains as strong as ever. I genuinely wish to continue learning, exploring new ideas, and growing through books.
I have saved around ₹400 from my travel expenses by walking extra distances, which I can contribute towards courier charges or part of the book costs. I understand if you may not be able to help, but I thought it was worth reaching out and asking.
In addition to continuing my own reading journey, I also hope to start a small home lending library in Chakan. There are very limited or no easily accessible libraries in my area, and I would love to create a space where children and young readers like me can discover the joy of books and have access to reading opportunities that I was fortunate to have.
