Good question and I have no idea, but that's a good flag about the release frequency. Did you see that article about an author who uses AI to churn out books and has like 20 pen names, and that they are teaching other people who to do that too??

So I just completed the duet and I found it be very good and well thought out. In my opinion I would say at least the duet is not written by AI but by an actual author. It was way too detailed and good honestly.
I recently got an ARC for a book that was definitely AI and I just had the inkling within the first paragraph.

Ok good. I did check the release dates after you said thart, and I wonder if the author had written most of these before she decided to publish them, so that's why there are shorter gaps between the release dates.
I'm stuck on 25% of book 2!! I'm finding the couple a little too one-note, hoping more stuff happens. Are you going to read emperor of corruption? I really liked it.

yes the first 40% of book 2 felt like it was just going to be just sex with very little plot. Hold through because the plot is coming and it is GOOD!

This totally could've some stories she outlined and even wrote before she either had money to self-publish or be picked up a publisher. Because I definitely don't get AI vibes at all.

Hey! I try to stay out of comments sections because it's a safe space for readers, but I want to clarify that I absolutely do not use AI. My output comes from a vigorous writing schedule of a few thousand words a day, 7 days/ week. Writing a lot is all about setting a schedule and even running 20-30 minute word sprints.
I'm also a little (more than a little) obsessed with morally black MMCs and once a story's in my head, I HAVE to get it on a page. Otherwise I'd go crazy. (Crazier than I already am).

Oh i'm so glad you replied! The series so far was 5 stars for me (finished book 1 and 2) and I'm looking forward to Max's book! I'm still trying to figure out how you plan to write a story for Cain lmao!
