Jane Hulse I was up at 3 this morning finishing this book. The ending is riveting. I found the premise for the plot was intriguing: a reformed serial killer accused of a new murder. Who can pass up that? The character of Harry is fascinating--scary, but at times sympathetic. His obsession with music made him so much more than a cold-blooded serial killer. The author put to good use his insider knowledge of newspapers and television. It all felt very real. I loved Flynn, the protagonist. She comes into the story with heavy baggage that makes her a more complicated character. I loved that the book was set in Denver, where I once lived. I can't wait to read the next one in the series.
