Austin Ash Thanks Brother Herman Bouwer,
Happy springtime! I am currently struggling with the concept of giving-self. Yielding, Holy Ghost, oneness concepts do not exist among South Dakotans/Montanans in the ~26 year old college graduate generation. I attended backslidden church consistently for one year only (in 2016). Was baptized in Jesus name July 2024. So I am seeking initial Holy Ghost infilling with evidence of speaking in tongues and I'll seek to keep the happy oil in my vessel afterwards, continued seeking the kingdom, and yielding no matter what! My home church is Pentecostals of Daytona Beach, FL. Thanks again, I saved this message! Pertaining to me, I receive not because I ask not. I prayed today twice but I forgot to ask to receive the Holy Ghost. What a concept. I was focusing on 1. incense prayer and 2. what Jesus wanted me to do before working at Olive Garden Daytona Beach, today. Truth. That's a cool list of things of which to ask Jesus.

Sincerely in Christ,

Brother Austin Ash

Herman Bouwer Thanks for your response Austin.
Do not make this complicated. Just pray and ask the Lord to baptise you with the Holy Spirit and then wait on Him.
I can recommend some books to you to read and meditate upon that can assist you in this journey.
Please send me an email to herman.777th@gmail.com and I will forward the books to you free of charge.
May you have a deep and intimate encounter with the Lord.
Grace to you
Herman

Herman Bouwer There is also a series of You Tube videos that I have posted on the Spirit of Christ that will be a blessing to you.
I am not allowed to post the link to that but can send it to you if you send me your email address

Austin Ash Sweet Brother Bouwer,
Here is my email. aashtampa@gmail.com
A travelling pastor came and put potato chips on the altar and was talking about how we expect potato chips to be in the bag. When we go up and receive free gift of chips, same thing. When I go up to the alter or even today at the park. I'm going to believe it already done.
