Wow! I couldn’t have said this better. I’m reading this book right now because an author I know highly recommended it. But I’m so bothered by the whole "feeling thing". I’m not open to my feelings guiding me with regard to scripture or what I know about God. Scripture is my guide, not my feelings in prayer or contemplation. I don’t know. I’m just not seeing it the same way all the 5-star reviewers are.

The scary aspect of some of these practices is how prevalent they are and our brains tend to accept things we see multiple times regardless of truth.
