lexie ♡ Holy shit!!! Hi! Sorry to totally freak out in your replies right now but logging in and seeing this post just made me jump out of my skin (in the best way).

Elliot - I read Cam Girl in 2021 and it hasn't left my mind since. Few books have stuck with me the way CG has, and it means a lot to me for a lot of reasons. (Vada, my beloved... sob)

That being said, I was so sad to see that you basically dropped off the face of the earth for awhile, and I've been looking for you online every so often to see if you'd ever posted anything new! I get it, though – it's been a crazy few years and you don't owe anyone anything. However, I am so glad to hear from you (along with this new book news!!) and I hope that you've been well 🩷

Thank you for sharing your words with us and for not being afraid to write about characters that are a little messy but still wonderful and so incredibly honest. I look forward to reading A Song Only We Can Hear, even though I'm sure it's going to break my heart too. Are there preorder links yet? I just tried looking for it on Google and on here and nothing popped up!

(Sorry for the mini essay, I hope this isn't against Goodreads etiquette, lol)

Sending 💙 right back to you,
Lexie

Holy shit, hi right back to you, Lexie! Thank you so much for the kind words. It means more than you know to hear that my book stuck with you all this time. Vada is very close to my heart (and now there's a painter in my real life, too, which is wild...guess I'm her Ellis).

It's been pretty damn lonely being off social media and feeling totally forgotten. Things have been utterly batshit for me - but they have for nearly everyone. I missed connecting with book people so very much. You guys are my lifeline.

The new book isn't up for preorder yet, but it will be on Amazon, B&N, Apple, and most other major retailers on April 7. I'll update my site with links as soon as I have them.

Anyway, thanks for stopping to say hello and sharing your feels. Gives me the warm fuzzies. You're awesome, and I wish you the most spectacular of days.

Adele Oh. My!!! You're back! We never knew each other even in the online sense, but I followed you and a lot of your original fan squad here on Goodreads and in the various social medias. Black Iris was the first book I ever preordered (as an insecure & repressed 18-year-old... don't remind me), and while I can't swear to it, I'm pretty sure Cam Girl and Bad Boy were numbers 2 and 3. I've thought about you every once in a while since. And I've missed reading your bookish opinions, even if I understand and/or can guess at the reasons you originally left.

Glad to see you're still out there, and still creating.

Well, we know each other online now. Nice to meet you! I'm honored you followed me (and my readers!) across all those books. Thank you so much for reading, and for still caring. I hope you like the new books. I'll stop writing when I'm dead. 😬💙

Ash (inkwordsandash) omg i'm so very excited to get to a song only we can hear !!
i discovered black iris sometime in 2022, and am utterly obsessed with— i've read it five times since. and then proceeded to explore the rest of your novels.
anyways, i just got approved for the arc of "a song only we can here", (softly screaming) delighted to have you black, and very very excited for the new robin hood romantasy coming in summer :)
your books mean so much to me, truly.
