Debut AIDS novel NIGHT TERMINUS by Ellis Scott > Likes and Comments

My debut novel, Night Terminus, is about the survivors of the AIDS crisis. It mines the wreckage of the catastrophe, set against a backdrop of political events, and spans forty years. The book features a cast of outsiders, young and old, all veterans of a war with many heroes but no parades. As a survivor of AIDS myself, this novel is a requiem for my lost generation.

I'm so glad to see another writer contributing to telling the real stories of fellow gay brothers amidst the proliferation of slash fiction and media in Asia. Recently, I stumbled upon a blog on the live experiences of Chinese and Taiwanese gay men living with AIDS. Their stories were uniquely imbued with cultural perspectives radically different from the narratives I heard or studied in North America. I wish you success.
