Stacy-Deanne Stacy-Deanne Hi Everyone,

Welcome to the group. I created this group because there is a severe lack of reviewers for authors of AA and IR fiction. Authors and reviewers can come together in harmony in this group and network.

Remember, this group is for professional purposes only. Do not start personal topics. Authors, list your most recent books if you are looking for a review. Book reviewers, share your guidelines and other information regarding book reviews.

I hope this group will make it easier for AA and IR romance books to find reviews!

Authors, feel free to add your books to the group bookshelf.

Wanted to invite people to my blog. It's a combination of a review site, personal website and blog. My main thing is highlighting multiculturalism in books but i would be glad to introduce other themes as well. If seeing diverse characters in books is important to anyone, please don't hesitate to join.

Cecilia Capers Hello everyone! Thanks for having a group that is open and willing to embrace new authors and books. My novel, "To Whom Much Is Given - A Novel" is available on Amazon. The novel's main character is a successful New York corporate attorney of African American and Jamaican descent who is part of the modern-day "Talented Tenth." She desires more than the typical professional fast track but on the road to success, she quickly learns loved-ones can become collateral damage.

The cinematic book trailer featuring Lawrence Saint-Victor, who appears on CBS Daytime’s “The Bold and The Beautiful,” Toni Robison-May, and John J. Thomassen is available on YouTube at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-eRM2C.... Please let me know what you think!

Tamara Philip Hi Everyone! I'm Tamara! and I love exclamation points! lol Also I'm the author of The Trouble with Playing Cupid which is a lighthearted nonerotic IR contemporary romance, but honestly I didn't deal with race in my book.

I feel like if we're reading an interracial romance novel we're already aware of how things are in real life, so can we just escape for a little while and just enjoy the story?
But it also depends on the style of book you're writing and how it flows, so I have nothing against it. It just didn't feel right in this book.

Wow I talk alot. I'm sorry. I just meant to say hi lol! anyways I can't wait to meet you all.

xoxoxo

Mickie Sherwood Hi all,
I'm Mickie Sherwood. I create sweet and spicy mainstream romance about African-American, and Interracial couples. My characters are loving and far from perfect. My newest sweet inspirational read, Christmas Crush, will be released December 2014. The novella features a dynamic paraplegic whose lust for life inspires a troubled divorcée to let go and live again. You can preview the excerpt at my blog http://mickiesherwood.com/blog/2014/1....
Also, I have a blog where I showcase the romances of other authors. BlurbsinBloom.com is a G-rated site that costs nothing to submit. I started the blog to give others like me, who write nothing hotter than 2 flames, behind closed doors romances, a place to shine. If interested, you can find the guidelines on the blog.
I'm happy to have found this group.

Tamara Hi all! I think I am one of the few reviewers that has made an introduction this far! I'm excited about this group and can appreciate goodreads for having this platform for not just readers, but for authors and readers to connect. I can't wait to be introduced to new authors (at least new to me) and books from this group.

Hi Stacy, I'm new the group and I see that it said not to start new threads. Well, I was hoping to start a thread for authors to post their SM pages so that we could follow each other. Other Author/Book reviewer groups have done so to some success, and this could help new authors boost their following. WDYT?

Dark Desires Genesis by Kourtney King

Synopsis

Valerie

Who knew that sitting at a bar trying to drown my sorrows would have turned to this? He's easy on the eyes but he's not perfect, he is what I needed to detox that coward I gave my effort, time and love to. The way he controls my body releases my mind from thoughts and feelings I want to forget. He's dangerous, but I'm drawn like a moth to a flame. I'm trying to forget him but he refuses to let go.

Vladimir

I needed a drink that night but what she offered me was stronger than anything I've ever tasted. I want more of her, I'm not sure how much but I will take from her until I feel alive, until I feel I belong, until I'm whole again. If she thinks she can write me off, she is sadly mistaken. I always get what I want and my sights are set on her - my sweet angel, Val.

message 27: by Carla (new)

Carla Terrell Hello, I'm looking for reviews for the Interracial Christian Romance, "Something Peculiar About Austin Valentine." It was written specifically to celebrate Valentine's Day.

Something Peculiar About Austin Valentine: About Austin Valentine

(Synopsis)

Austin Valentine knew, from the grinding sound of the motor and the sudden jerky-stop of the elevator car, the elevator was going to move neither up nor down! With an occupation as an architectural-engineer and real estate developer, he knew a thing or two about elevators. However, he wasn’t alone in his captivity. He was trapped in the company of a beautiful woman. Their conversations made for fascinating discussions during the passing hours and made for friendliness and openness between them. That is, until she called him racist! The affront had vehemently swiped at his Christian values and beleaguered his conscience. But when they were freed from the elevator, he was reluctant to say goodbye to her.

Simone Watson, an interior design project manager by trade, had been stuck in elevators before, so she had no reason to panic. Her rescue normally came within an hour of the elevator technician’s arrival. And though she had been in this situation a few times before, with three or more passengers, she had never been stuck alone with such an attractive man. Though he was affable, humorous, and had a calm disposition, yet, there was something peculiar about Austin Valentine.

Thank you, Carla

Hi everyone! I'm M. F. Hopkins, (Mo) and I write paranormal and fantasy romance, in addition to horror. I think I may have seen a spot here where we list our books, so I'll try to find it and list the first two books of my trilogy there.

In the meantime, if it's not against the rules, I'll also leave my website, which gives a little info about me, Amazon links to my two books, etc. I'm looking forward to hanging out here!
