Nikki, I hope you like! It’s definitely longer with more side plot than many of our wham, bam, thank you ma’am betrayal/grovel books. I enjoyed it though. I think this author is pretty awesome. 😎
Plot sounds fine, but I gotta be honest…I can’t respect an MC romance with a lame cartoon cover. Why can’t we have the bare-chested hotties, dammit?! 😢
Sarah, I totally hear you!! I always vote hot for my mc covers! 😂 If you look at this author’s previous books, they all kind of have the same flavor. I wonder if the artist is a friend, which I would totally respect. Definitely not my fav, but I appreciate that at least it doesn’t look ai!
Thank you so so much for such an awesome review @Snafuzled! Author here, btw.
About the cover (lol), I design all of my covers using non-AI elements. Those shirtless model pics ain’t cheap XD!!!
But I appreciate your support, regardless. I’m working on honing my design skills. And you got the nail right on the head—I do have an artist friend who helps with tweaks and changes to certain artworks.
Again, I’m so glad you enjoyed the book.<3
Bakul, I’m honored by your comment. Glass Jawed is another favorite of mine! I loved learning more about Indian culture. I like that your covers are artistically cohesive and now I know they are your own unique style. I think it would be smart to keep on that same trend to give yourself a signature look. (Although, I do like my shirtless bikers! 😜) Keep on writing and I’ll keep on supporting! BTW… you really did us dirty with that Wolf situation! 😂
Well, color me intrigued! Not a fan of OW stuff like it sounds like happens, but if there's enough space between when he's into her and whenever it happens, I can be down with that.
Side note; Are all former wild child's avid romance readers now or what? Lol!
Loco, I’m sure there’s some psychological reasons for wild children loving romance. A therapist could have a field day with us! 😂 And yeah, the ow drama wasn’t dramatic imo. There is a girlfriend but she doesn’t get much screen time and it’s prior to any relationship with our FMC. But there is some serious trauma at the beginning. Ruin is a complete asshole to her in the ‘before’, so gird your loins for that!

Got this one on the list! Awesome review! I’ve had glass jawed on the list for a while, too!

No, I definitely wasn’t okay with what he did. But Sarah didn’t bother me at all. She was his gf while he literally had zero interest in Charlotte. She wasn’t even on his radar. Their relationship petered out before Charlotte came back on the scene and wasn’t any overlap between Charlotte’s and Ruin’s relationship. Sarah and Ruin weren’t even communicating when Charlotte and Ruin became a thing. So no, I wasn’t bothered by that. I was more bothered by the initial trauma, but I knew what I was getting into going in so I was prepared. It definitely would have been worse for me if Ruin had delivered the beat down vs the club girls. I wouldn’t have been able to get past that. In the end it worked for me. 🤷♀️
