Andrew Lokenauth Love seeing which popular books you really disliked, or you read but didn't like.

Fiza Pathan Jane Austen's books - I have felt for the longest time that she is overrated. I prefer the Brontë Sisters.

Also all these New Adult books in the market from the God of Malice series to the Emily Henry books to the dark academia books = they all make me think of one song by Prince everytime I read them - Erotic City!

Think the chorus of Erotic City - that is what I feel about these New Adult books LOL. :) :D Can't digest them at all - puke worthy for a person like me. :)

Anika Rajeev Please don't kill me for this - the Hunger Games series.
I wasn't even able to finish the first book; maybe it was because the pacing changed so irregularly, and the story just didn't make sense to me since it was my first dystopian novel. I do know the story, though, since I had a friend tell me the whole thing, so I can hold a conversation about the book.

I also hated the Twilight series.
The first book was okay, not that bad. The rest of the series was just trying to force a standalone book into becoming a series.

Aidyn Abel I have the feeling I will be receiving a lot of hate for this response, but I disliked the Powerless trilogy, and I also dislike the We Hunt The Flame duology.

Powerless was just bad. I know everybody is like "its so good" "5 stars" and "everybody NEEDS to read this," but I just didn't like it much. I personally agree with those that say it is plagiarized, because it is way too similar to red queen. I disliked the characters, Paedyn just wasn't a very good FMC, that's my personaly opinion. Don't take that the wrong way, I'm not sexist or anything, because some of my favorite fantasy main characters include Vin from Mistborn, Jude from The Cruel Prince, and Zelie from Children of Blood and Bone. It just wasn't a well written story, and the author clearly changed her favorite word every few pages.

We Hunt the Flame wasn't terrible, it just barely interested me, the first book I could get through, though it took me a while. The second book I did not finish. I couldn't get interested in the plot.

F. P. ...My "hating" anything is rare, because I don't want to contain hate. In my opinion and experience, doing that is harmful for the container. But, the last "romance" I read days ago came extremely close to my hating it, and it nearly destroyed reading for me; the last time that happened with me and books, I didn't read any fiction for over three years--or maybe it was five years! I can't remember now because it was over twenty years ago.

For now, I've moved onto reading mysteries, and my reading my first mystery book in a long time has gone well. I like to move onto the positive stuff fast, if I can.

Rene Allen-Alonge I didn’t like Wild Dark Shore and I am pretty sure there’s not many who didn’t like it. I thought it was boring.

WhatsIrilisReading For me it was Hollow by Caroline Peckham and Susan Valenti.

WhatsIrilisReading Also Sunrise on the Reaping. Just felt very repetitive to Katniss's story to me.

WhatsIrilisReading I wouldn't say I hated them. They were okay. Would I read them again? Nope.
