No but seriously did SJM not realize how badly she was writing Rhys and Feyre in this book and ACOWAR....? She just ruined them as individual characters and since they first had sex their relationship was hardly ever anything more

That's something typical for her. The moment her characters become a couple their love is all consuming and they stop existing as individuals. It's something I've criticized after reading "Throne of Glass" too. XD I get it, the idea of being so in love that you think as one person is nice, but it's not realistic and to lose yourself when you're with someone else is definitely not healthy. I'd want my character to go it's own path and not to depend on the actions of its love interest.

I haven't even read this book and I agree with every single one of your thoughts. Just from the trilogy alone, I always thought Lucien deserved better and that both of Feyre's sisters were ridiculous and selfish. And I always thought Tamlin didn't deserve half the shit that came his way. HAVE PEOPLE FORGOTTEN THAT HE LOST HIS MOTHER??? Like Rhys wasn't the only one who lost loved ones! And Tamlin had PTSD after the whole Under the Mountain arc too ffs but apparently Feyre gets a pass and he doesn't T_T

I 100% agree with all of this. Except the Nesta part. I think Sarah treated Nesta horribly. So she doesn’t want to hang out with everyone and play happy families when she didn’t even want to be a Fae? I don’t think she has to. If she wants to drink and have sex with random strangers because that’s how she is dealing with her PTSD? Fine, it’s not hurting anyone else except herself. The others are all day drinking and carrying on as well. They’re all dealing with stuff in their own way, and forcing Nesta to do things the way the others are isn’t helping. She’s always been strong and independent (and a bitch), so just leave her the hell alone. Stop nagging her all the time for doing things her own way. Feyre’s way is not always the fucking answer.
Also, Elain is a waste of ink on paper. And if Mor is the only one who doesn’t have a HEA at the end of this story, I will revolt, because Maas may as well carry the “bury your gays” trope flag. And that’s the hill I will burn to the ground.

From what I've gathered, doesn't she use Feyre and Rhys's money though? I'm all for leaving Nesta alone, but if she's using other people's money, that's a problem. That's honestly what I dislike about her the most. Back when Feyre was the one supporting the family, Nesta and Elain didn't do shit to help
