Leiber has always been one of my favorite sci-fi writers. Read a compilation of his short fiction last year. Seems like he could turn his hand equally well to sci-fi or horror or fantasy. And yet he's so often eclipsed by the "Big Three" (Asimov, Clarke, and Heinlein).
