Tony DiGerolamo I use wordpress. It's pretty easy once the software is installed.

Opëshum Opëshum Agreed! My publisher also used WordPress. They built their site using that tool:

Helen Gould I also have a WordPress site, but hosted on my neighbour's server. I really liked the older version of WordPress, but am gradually learning the new one. I did a couple of short web/HTML courses before I had the site, so I had a good idea of what I wanted from the site. Basically you need to show off your writing, and make it available to buy on the site, but I also use my site as a companion to my books, with information about the universe I write in.

The site was put together for me in about ten minutes by my neighbour's son, who then worked for his dad in their web services company, using materials I'd already created. Hope this helps <3

David Cuff Hello everyone. I used Wordpress to build my author website dnacuff.com - my site is hosted by Bluehost, a combination that I've found works well together.

Dale Lehman I host through a place called 123ehost. They're a Canadian company. I use Wordpress software with the Hestia theme.

Jane Rubin I used to use Wordpress for my blog, but with the launch of my historical novel, In the Hands of Women, have switched to a Six platform - take a look janeloebrubin.com

Esraelmorales Hi there, I first heard about this through a friend who experiments with different hosting environments for small projects. I decided to give https://pbn.ltd/ a try just to see how it performs in practice. I liked that the setup didn’t take much time, and the structure seemed quite clean from the start. It didn’t feel overloaded with unnecessary features. Over time, I noticed that things remained stable, and that consistency made the overall experience feel reliable enough to keep using.

Darkocean Does it have an HTML editor? If I can't write my own code it's useless to me. I hate the trend of pre built templates that prevailes with most hostings.

I've just been using vi, then test in Firefox.
Run a small script to chop and zip for epub3.

Anything fancy tends to fail within epub, so simpler is better.
Still get some nice formatting, even though it's reflowable.

Rita Chapman I've been with Crazydomains for several years. It's quite user-friendly.

I host a different author on my website each week at www.ritaleechapman.com. If anyone is interested in a free interview, you can contact me through the website.
