Darling Reader is a Romance & Fantasy book website I launched in December 2025 to build a community of readers, and help indie authors get their books out into the world.

Every author can submit their book for a free listing in our searchable Book Finder tool. Readers use it to filter by trope, subgenre, spice level, and more, so your book shows up when someone is actively looking for exactly your kind of story.
Your free listing includes:
Your book cover, title, and author name. A short blurb. Trope and subgenre tags. Spice level rating. Direct buy links to Amazon and Bookshop.org.
This isn’t a temporary promo, your listing stays live permanently and is discoverable through search engines, meaning readers can find your book for months and years to come.
2. Featured Promotion
Want more than a listing? Our Featured Promotion package gives your book a proper introduction to our audience.
What’s included:
A dedicated blog post on Darling Reader featuring your book, written in our editorial style, optimised for search, and designed to rank for the tropes and keywords your ideal readers are searching for. This isn’t a one-day social post that disappears. It’s a piece of evergreen content that keeps driving discovery.
A mention in our “Darling Post” monthly newsletter.
A feature on our Pinterest page.
Priority placement in the Darling Book Finder.
