It was really hard to pick just one, but my favorite line you wrote is: "And then A.T. Pike said exactly what I had been unable to say. That sounds like an exaggeration. I know it does. But I don't know how else to describe what it feels like when a writer reaches into the specific, particular experience of being you, not a general version, not a relatable to everyone version, but the actual texture of a feeling you thought was too complicated or too embarrassing or too small to matter, and holds it up so you can finally see it. That is what this collection did for me, more than once, in more than one piece."
