Whenever I read a wrestling memoir, I find it's always easy to tell if someone used a ghostwriter. I'm glad Saraya's book didn't have one. She tried to work with one, but wasn't satisfied with the results and took a DIY approach. I want to read this!
Great review, my friend! I always am happy to see a review from you on Goodreads. I was disappointed by this book. It felt like she was writing the book with the intention of one day returning to the WWE, which has happened. I didn't need her to be bitter, angry, or lash out at those who have wronged her, but she glossed over a lot in her book. I like her and I'm rooting for her, and she's been through a lot, but I was expecting the next best wrestling book, and it was just slightly above average. I'm not sure if it's because of legal reasons she couldn't go too deep with details.
