Tropical State is self-published by me, John Druckenmiller, a retired journalist after nearly 50 years. It is inspired by a Caribbean cruise that falls on the first election day back in the states that I'd missed in five decades. It follows Lee and Terry, retired college professors, and a quest for new life that turns out to be lifesaving. Much of Tropical State is set in The Cursing Dolphin, a waterside watering hole that could pass for JB's beloved Cabbage Key. Lee even breaks into a few JB riffs. Promot: If interested: Kindle only, $6.99.

Thanks John; it sounds like the perfect JB-inspired story. Wishing you the utmost success with your novel.
How about a quick St. Martin/Philipsburg fix complete with changes in attitude at a big discount? Tropical State is on sale on Kindle for $1.99 a copy April 2 through April 9. Please join "Lee" and "Terry" for a drink at The Cursing Dolphin.
Take us to the beach for more than half the price: As summer beach reading begins, we're discounting Tropical State from $6.99 to $2.99. Follow Lee and Terry as the former college professors retire to St. Martin but find it tough to escape life "back in the states." Hey John, are you actually in St. Martin? I'm on my catamaran, sailed to St. Barths for the week-end, but I'll be back in the lagoon or Marigot next week some time. If you are around, might be fun to meet up. ~ Raymond Patrick ~
