Michael Talbot Quote 1: "once something becomes infrastructure, it stops being gentle"
Quote 2: " the future is deciding"

These both point to the wrong Michael Talbot

Also, I cannot add a new quote because I dont show as a Michael Talbot in the author dropdown.

Please fix this.

Hi Michael
Replying again. I'm a bit puzzled by this one, as the quotes were on the default Michael Talbot profile, but showing your book.

Goodreads disambiguates authors with the same name by putting spaces between the names. You are the 4 space Michael Talbot.

I have put the four spaces between your names & the quotes are showing credited to you.

https://www.goodreads.com/work/quotes...

Rather than adding the spaces between your names, you may find it easier to go to QUOTES BY MICHAEL TALBOT on your profile page. Click on that & then if you add a quote it will be credited to you.

I remain puzzled by how the quote had the wrong Michael Talbot, but the correct book - but the site was glitching on quotes a couple of days ago, so your quotes may have been caught up in that.

Just out of curiosity, did Support tell you when they gave you a Gr Profile how authors of the same name are disambiguated?

Michael Talbot Thank you for the fix, however now I get an error every time I try and add a new quote. Frustrating

This happened to me as well. Someone did tell me you can only add one quote per day (due to past bot spam). If they could only get rid of the fake spam/scam accounts.

It's best to add quotes directly from the book page. Otherwise you would need to put four spaces between your first and last names when entering the author name.
