Bonnie G. Fascinating! I could not get past Mitchell's depictions of happy stupid slaves lucky to have the chance to serve White people, and I hated GWtW, but that does not make this history less interesting. Thanks your for cluing me in.

Justin Tate Thanks, Bonnie! It’s definitely possible to be simultaneously appalled and admiring of art and history. My reading interests regularly fall into that mixed category and Margaret Mitchell is no exception. Glad you found my review interesting :)
