Hi this is Signe Land, author. Thank you for your review - this issue is extremely important to us. I was the final editor on our book (Elizabeth is legally blind) and I take full responsibility for this mistake. As far as I know this is the only time this happens in the book, and we are actively working with our book designer on a revision that will fix the issue, but as indie publishers, we have to research how to upload a revision and it's taking a little time. We appreciate that you gave our book a chance. We strive for perfection, but we missed the mark here! - Signe E. Land
I noticed the same thing! My review of this book is basically that it needed an editor. Not just for mistakes like this, but to tell them to cut down the impossibly long character list and trim things up. It ended up too much work to read and IDNFed it.
Hello - Signe Land here again with an update - We’ve confirmed today our edits have gone through and this mistake with two of Adrian’s pronouns has been fixed. We don’t make it a practice to respond to reviews, but in this case, not responding to a mistaken pronoun could make it look like we don’t care, and we do care very much about getting every single pronoun for our characters correct. We don’t use AI, so the changes involved going back to our wonderful book designer and formatter to update the files. We truly appreciate the time readers took to point out our mistake, and we are glad to report that we have fixed it the typos. All our best, Signe & Elizabeth 5/16/26
