Kathryn Hi Jerry! I just picked up the first edition of this book and was excited to try the Sesame-Lemon Bread. As you mention a couple times here though, it sounds like you've done some necessary tweaking to get it to be successful. Any chance you could share a bit of what you've learned about that one so that I can apply some of those changes? Thanks for the thorough write-up!

Jerry Hey, Kathryn. Basically I decreased the flour drastically. Instead of trying to add in another three cups of (white and whole wheat) flour after the sponge rises I added 1 cup of whole wheat and a third cup of white, left the remaining ingredients the same, and only made one loaf. Because I was only making one loaf, I did cut the yeast down to one tablespoon instead of two.
