The funniest thing that these were my first experiences with fae. But now I have no desire to read any fae book again... >:(

Shatter Me
The first book was decent, the second wasn't that great, and the third on was the best. And I can't seem to find it in me to pick up the fourth.

I love most BookTok books but I think that's because I'm pretty easy to please. If I were to say one that is objectively overrated, If He Had Been With Me series, and I can see why people wouldn't like Powerless (very tropey) and Caraval (the middle took so long lol) but I do love all of these books with my whole heart.

4th wing (it was fine, not great) mostly because of the overused broody tortured male MC trope, the "enemies" to lovers trope, and the part that went something like "sheathing himself inside me to the hilt". Women are not sword holders lol - anyway, i DNF'd book one of that series. Also the plot was kinda predictable, and the queer rep was def half-azzed.

people we meet on vacation, i mean sure its not bad but why is it so popular its not a wow book.

-Powerless (Its just a copy of a bunch of other books you can be inspired by other books but at least try to make it different)
-Haunting Adeline (that book is disgusting)
-Lightlark (Again like powerless a bunch of copies of other books)

Caraval was TORTURE to get through, Powerless and Once Upon a Broken Heart was just boring at times, and low-key didnt really like the Cruel Prince all that much
