Graeme Williams Hi everyone,

I'm working with Vivian R. Probst, author of Breaking The Bias of English, to connect with readers interested in how language shapes and limits our understanding of power and gender.

About the book:
Probst introduces the "Word Closet," a framework for recognizing how English embeds hierarchy into its structure, particularly through gendered defaults. Her six-word approach reframes "he power" into "we power," offering something rare: a linguistically grounded, practically applicable pathway to linguistic equity.

Who this speaks to:
Readers of Wordslut, The Mother Tongue, or Because Internet
Educators teaching language, writing, or gender studies
Anyone who's sensed something limiting in English but lacked vocabulary to name it

What I'm offering:
A limited number of review copies for thoughtful readers willing to post honest reviews on Goodreads and/or Amazon. No payment, no obligation just genuine engagement with the work.
If you're interested, comment below or message me directly. I'm happy to answer questions about the book or the author's framework.

Thanks for reading,
Graeme Williams

Cassidy Thompson While I'm not entirely sure what advice is given in this book, I must urge if you're honest about getting rid of your constipation, a plant-based diet is the area to start (with a large focus on whole foods!) For perspective, all animal products (milk, meat, eggs) contain zero fiber. Right now, only 5% of Americans get their daily requirement, called the "fiber gap" by nutritionists. Wow.

Fiber is scientifically known to feed healthy gut bacteria, producing short-chain fatty acids that improve muscle contractions (peristalsis) in the colon, speeding up transit time. Soluble fiber works with insoluble fiber to help keep the stool moist, bulked up and easy to pass.

Here's an even quicker solution...

Eat a prune a day.
If that doesn't work, keep eating 'em until it does. Work that is. And drink lots of pure water.

(I admit I may be oversimplifying the problem).

Cassidy Thompson @Lance, while doing research I actually came across that exact advice. It's a great start!
