Aaron iam repeatedly fascinated by the range of genres asimov choose to write about
do you have a reference point to start/get into his works for someone that never has read any of his (science) fiction, non-fiction etcetc…?

Liedzeit Liedzeit I would start with „I Robot“ a collection of stories and then, if you like this, „The End of Eternity“ his best SF novel. Non fiction is more difficult as most of it is dated now. But to get an idea try any collection of his F&SF essays e.g. „The Stars in their Courses“ or „X stands for Unknown“. I would highly recommend his books on history. Start with „The Greeks“. And if you really want to learn more about the range of his writing read „Familiar Poems annotated“.

Liedzeit Liedzeit I forgot to mention OPUS 100. This would be a perfect first book as in that he had excerpts from his first hundred books in 11 different fields.
