Oh my goodness thank you for saying something because it didn’t seem like that at all from the books description😭
(Also, I’m coming to your review cause I saw the video you did on it and figured I should to look it up to see what the description was…yeah this book is gonna be a “HECK NO” from me
proof that just because you have an idea doesn’t mean you should write it - adoptive siblings dating…yuck 🥴
my best friend has adopted siblings. I’d be like one of them dating each other. ew!
The fact that there are like 8 billion people in the world and you gotta choose ur brother is disturbing
As a foster kid, I concure...this is so wrong. We even had close family friends growing up where one of the book was my age and a girl near my brother's age and when asked about dating we were all like...that's like dating your sibling! So yeah, growing up in the same house is definitely a sibling relationship...I couldn't see it ever coming across like friends, especially if you called your parents mom and dad...like, so awkward. And gross...
Well that is certainly lame.....were they biological siblings besides?Warped regardless as they could adore one another and be best friends sure but not have that sort of relationship! eeww.
They are NOT actual siblings. They were adopted by the same family. They are always described as best friends in the book, not as siblings. Don‘t review a book if you have no clue!
I mean yeah they were both adopted by the parents but they clearly never had siblings feelings toward each others and neither of them actually came from the same bio family! I know a lot of people that have read step siblings tropes and justified it and that’s just wired but this is nothing like that
@jaylan I have 4 adopted siblings. With the same legal last name, if I went after them I’d be going after my siblings regardless. It is actually legally considered incest to do that. They were raised as siblings, and by law they were siblings and the author acknowledged that
I don’t think I would be able to read a step brother or an adopted sibling romance… it just feels so icky 🤢
