Many thanks, Sherron! Sharing the author's vision expressed in a novel is one of my prime goals - and in language that will be most appealing and engaging for a reader like yourself.

David The world can be a strange place and the humanity in this book seems to fit it. Great review Glenn.

Thanks, David. The world doesn't get any weirder than in one of Cisco's novels. And this one might, as they say, take the cake.

Gaurav Sagar Excellent review, Glenn. I am yet to read the author, would try it sometime in future. Thanks for sharing it :)

Thanks a bunch, Gaurav. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised at how insightful Michael Cisco can be. In addition to being a teacher of literature, he's a Deleuzian scholar -- and his novels are unique in their hyperweirdness.

Forrest I love when Michael lets the dark curtain crack and we get to see the technicolor absurdist behind it all. Contrast this, for instance, with The Divinity Student. Not opposed stories, two sides of the same coin.

Very true, Forrest. The Divinity Student lacks much of the humor of Animal Money and Member. I plan on reading more of his fiction. He's quite the author.
