Richard Foster I recently published my memoir, Stop, Police! It starts with my teenage years dancing a fine line with criminality, to travelling across America, to becoming a police officer. A large part of the book, is a selection of true crime stories and what it is really like to police a large city.

The book ends with me collapsing with a brain hemorrhage and having to undergo life saving brain surgery. Written with positivity and humour, I hope you enjoy!

💙The eBook version on Amazon will be on special offer of 0.99p/c between the 13th and 19th June 2026. Also free on KU.

Karin Ideally you're following this thread since I've set up your individual author page. I wish I hadn't had to accept cookies to find out if you've published other books. There are many authors named Richard Foster, so your book was lumped under a generic one. This is your author page, and i strongly recommend you claim it. Go to the page, scroll down to the bottom and click or tap on "Let us know" to start the process. FYI, if you ever go to Goodreads Librarians to ask for help, let them know your author name has 7 spaces between your first and last name (can't be seen here.) It looks much better to have an author photo, bio, etc there.

Thanks Karin. Trust me, I have been trying for weeks to claim my author page on Goodreads, but keep my request rejected 🙄. I have tried again following some more tweaking of my website. Wish me luck. Thanks for your advice Richard.

I have no idea what it's like to claim an author page since I'm a basic librarian. I hope it works out for you.
