Congratulations on the upcoming release of your new novel. Thanks for agreeing to answer any questions members might have.
I kinda dislike the beast I become after publishing a new novel, checking for comments and reviews every five minutes like a mad man.I seriously have to chill. Lol
Hi guys. Despite my best efforts I have received next to no interest in my new novel which has gained decent reviews so far and I'd appreciate your thoughts as to why The Alderby Grange Affair (and indeed all of my books) has/have failed to entice Goodreads members? Thank you.
I wish I had the easy answer, there never is.We as moderators are trying to build the group, and actions with the members.
I appreciate that. Goodreads is one of the few places authors can interact with readers and ask such questions or seek critique, advice and guidance. Thanks for all you do. Just trying to understand the process and learn where I went wrong. The mods, readers and members on here have been great and it's all on me.
I don't think you have done anything wrong.Life now is also so busy.
Joseph Finder is BOTM and Q and A, hardly any reading it.

Like Sean said, it doesn't sound like you've done anything wrong. I have purchased a copy on Amazon and downloaded it to my kindle, but I'm not sure when I will get to work it into my reading schedule. Best of luck!

Sorry to hear that for Joseph. Thanks for the comment. :-)

Thank you so much. It certainly is a competitive world out there. I'm taking advice and trying to focus on the positives. :-) Best wishes.

I'd just like to let members know that my seventh novel is due for release on 24th April. It's a mystery thriller and will be on Amazon and KU.
'When a well-connected aristocrat known for cruelty is shot dead at his ancestral estate, the precision of the hit tells its own story. This was planned, funded, and meant to send a message. Two masked gunmen vanish without a trace.
For Detective Inspector Bob Davis rules are optional and tact is overrated. His partner, Detective Sergeant Jodie Taylor, is determined to prove herself. But the victim’s past turns out to be darker than anyone expected and the deeper they dig, the more dangerous it becomes. The more enemies they make.
Soon, Davis and Taylor aren’t just investigating a murder. They’re uncovering a secret tied to powerful figures who will do anything to keep it buried… How hard do you push to uncover the truth, knowing that you may not survive it?'
I'm happy to answer questions.
Thanks for the opportunity to post.
