Richard Why did I write A Life of Two Halves?

After more than two decades in football, I've always been fascinated by the contrast between the player the public sees and the person they become once they leave the stadium.

Supporters see performances.

The media sees stories.

But behind every footballer is a private life most people never get to witness.

A Life of Two Halves grew from a simple question:

What happens when those two worlds can no longer remain separate?

If you enjoy character-driven fiction, football stories and novels exploring identity, pressure and personal conflict, I'd love to hear your thoughts.

Maria D'Angeles I love that premise! It is real, it is important, and it could make for a fascinating read. Looks like it was published yesterday? Added it to my want to read and will download on Kindle and review. Love seeing more books from soccer lovers — that love is obvious and comes across on every page. Good luck to you!
