I’ll tag along for this ride. This will be my second read of Cujo, but oh so many years have passed since the first. King’s children…those in his books have long amazed me.
I’m really looking forward to joining your book club, joining you from the UK.I first read Cujo as a teenager back in the 90’s. My 2nd King read.
Can’t wait to re-discover it.
I’ve finally read all of the Dark Tower series so I am super excited for his next edition, and can read along with you all.
Hi everyone, I’m currently working with a few authors and helping them get their books in front of more readers. I’m always curious—what makes a book stand out enough for you to add it to your reading list? Is it the cover, the blurb, recommendations, or something else? I’d love to hear your thoughts and connect with fellow readers here.

For me, Cujo is where King began creating those intricate dynamics between kids and animals, husbands and wives, soldiers and their demons. These dynamics flow from creek to river to ocean throughout the worlds he built.
Cujo was the first time I sympathized, and even felt bad, for the 'villain' in a story. That poor dog! I had complicated feelings about Tad's mom at the end -- okay, yes, you and your young son's lives were endangered by this monster...but the monster was sick! It didn't know what it was doing. This book still makes me cry.
Cujo is the first time King didn't play by the usual rules in horror. He is cruel and his resolutions seem to be random, without any rhyme or reason to them. There's no feel-good vibes anywhere to be found and the result is a scary, unsettling experience--one of King's best. As full-blooded horrifying as King has ever gotten and likely ever will get again.I loved it. If you've ever asked for trigger warnings, best stay away.
I enjoyed reading Cujo except for the end, it felt so sudden and cruel. Would have expected something else
Although I've read many books by Stephen King, I never read this one or watched the movie. It's time for an old classic by this incredible author!!
Hey! I was curious, how long do we have to finish a book club book before moving on to the next? I need to work on finishing my current book before reading Cujo. Thanks.
