Kelly (Maybedog) Here you go!

You'll get your tasks soon!

Keli Hi Pooja, do you want a colour along picture? Or do you want to go your own way?

message 4: by Pooja (new)

Pooja Peravali I’d love a color along picture!

Keli Rules:

• Books must be started on or after June 1
•Choose any one task to complete the colour. Post completion of each task using this format

Book:
Author:
Date Read:
Task:
How it Fits:

*Please note that when it comes to colours, you are the arbiter. If you think a book is stone, then it’s stone. If you want my opinion, I’ll list my colour definitions below. However, I will accept any variations of the main colour. For colour lovers like myself, finding books to fit the hue variations will be fun, but this challenge should not stress anyone out. Not everyone sees colour the same and not everyone cares. So, be as into the colour distinctions as you want.

***Some of the lists chosen are small. Therefore, if you read a book that fits that list’s criteria and you add the book to the list, then you may use it. Add a note saying that you added it on your completion post. I will check just to confirm it meets the list criteria. If it doesn’t, then you will need to re-read for that task.***

COLOURS

1. Sky Blue
2. Pumpkin Orange
3. Stone
4. Lime
5. Lavender
6. Taupe
7. Coffee
8. Butter Yellow
9. Light Blue

•Sky Blue - A paler but bright blue. Take a true blue and add a dash of white. Definitely not as much as light blue.
•Pumpkin Orange - Is a pretty pure (not toned, tinted or shaded) orange but with more yellow than red.
•Stone - This colour is known by several names, taupe, greige, fawn, mushroom, etc. I just chose stone. Literally, you can choose any mid tone grey-brown and it will be a stone colour. The colour pictured leans more grey than brown
•Lime - Like stone, lime is a bit subjective. If you google lime green half a dozen colours appear, but what most have in common is that they are a yellow-green in varying depths of brightness. If you want to aim the colour above, choose for a bright yellow green with a teeny tiny bit of grey that just mutes the brightness. But any yellow-green will work.
•Lavender is a pale purple with more blue than red and a little grey to tone down the brightness.
•Taupe - Again, like stone and lime, this colour is whatever you think it is. I chose taupe as the description because taupe comes in a range of neutral browns. Taupe can be a yellow brown like the traditional colour of chinos. It can be the grey brown of stone. And it can be a red leaning deeper grey brown like the one pictured here.
•Coffee - Think roasted espresso beans for this colour. It is a deep rich red brown with black added to darken the hue.
•Butter Yellow - A true yellow made pastel by adding white.
•Light Blue - A gorgeous pale blue made from the hue blue and white.

Keli Hey Poooja, you said you wanted a colour along pic, but you’ve started with butter yellow. Do you want to go in any order?

Pooja Peravali No worries! I'll just continue in a random order, and wait for the finished picture at the end.
