Omiword, hypocrisy and a dose of frustrating mixed up storylines, thy name is Mad Wife! Thank you for your honest review, Yun! I’m convinced this need not go anywhere near my tbr pile! 😆❤️
the lack of communication alone would drive me bloody mad! i am certainly a lover of the '50s – and i understand that social norms and expectations were much different then – but when a story relies on excessive silence to create conflict, i just can't do it. very grateful for this review; i suspect it saved me a massive headache!

Honest review Yun! I am a little bummed now as I’ve seen 3 back to back 2⭐️reviews already and this is coming up in 2 weeks for me on Libby. Perhaps I’ll suspend it for now, and when I want to read something wishywashy I’ll pick this one up :)
