Thpugh there are a lot of books about the Asian ESL experience, I think that not many more will be written about the 'Wild East', yours is definitely the best one I have read of this genre.
F.E. - congrats on this. I'm not a Kindle user, so will probably spend the $10 to buy a "real" book on Amazon - probably the most I've spent on a book in years! (God bless our local used bookstores!)
I went to Taiwan in 1978 planning to probably teach English for a year or so, but within a week got a "we want a white face to show off in our office" job at a local ad agency, and then eventually opened my own business as a graphic designer (my real job) and ended up running that for 15 years - so never actually did any English teaching, but had numerous friends who did and who definitely "fit the profile."
Anyway - will definitely get this one!
