Correcting Author/Book Listings > Likes and Comments

With apologies if this is the wrong forum, I'm very confused about the Author Program.

I wanted to limit books listed under my profile to those actually written by me. There were books by authors with the same name (Michael Rigg) and similar names. I understood that I had to "claim my name" (or something like that) and to do so, I had to join the Author Program. I now have an Author Page but when I try to add my books, I'm told that they are already listed under another author.

In looking through the instructions, it appeared to me that this is the group I needed to talk with to resolve the isssue. Again, apologies if this is not the correct forum. Please help me get to the right place to solve the problem.
