Thanks, Kaylee, for your very thoughtful review. You are bang on about the difficulties involved in writing a book like this. It was ultimately categorized as a YA novel, but that's not what Mikhael and I intended. We had always envisioned it as as narrative for adult readers who may have experienced such predations and through it, could find closure and/or catharsis, and who could relate to it more when the issue was embedded in the twists and turns of a thriller.
