Someone added a book I didn't write to my author page. > Likes and Comments

Hello Goodreads Librarians,

I am a ya sci-ci/fantasy author, and someone added a book to my profile that I did not write. Its title is:

The Invisible Army: From War Pigeons to Empire-Building Camels: The Documented Cases of Animals Who Determined the Outcome of Human History

As you can see, this is not in my genre and must have been written by a different CJ Hawthorne. Would it be possible to remove this from my profile?

Thank you for removing the book. It seems like it has been added to my profile again, with another book by the other C.J. Hawthorne.

Could you please remove the following two books? And, if it helps to keep this from happening again, could my author name be changed to CJ Hawthorne (without the periods) so our names are not the same?

Books moved off your profile.

Goodreads' policy requires periods after initials in author names.

If you like, you can ask Goodreads Support to move you off the default page for your name. You wouldn't see other people's books landing on your profile, but your books also wouldn't be auto-imported to your profile ether. Though if you're listing your books under "CJ Hawthorne" on Amazon (ie. without periods) your books wouldn't be landing on your profile automatically anyway.
