Good review Michelle. I'm curious, so is this set in the same time period (mid-century) as Psycho? Same Marion who we know from the movie? Sounds like it would be pretty good. Sorry it fell short for you. And yes, on a side note...there is a LOT of ball-kicking needed in the world now.

Hey Kurt! Thanks so much! 💗 This book is set in current times. It's the Billings Motel (Norm Billings) rather than Bates Motel. This one is located New Palz, NY rather than Fairvale, CA. I believe the Marion in this is supposed to be 29/30 but she came across to me as much younger and a bit immature which was part of the problem I had with this. Oh well, they can't all be five stars.

I listened to the audio, so I wonder if the narrators helped me to enjoy it. I understand your review Michelle.
