Craig Dressler Here is a list of some of my favorite ways for kids to learn history:
1) Adventures in Odyssey has a series of kid's novels that teach history at various times in the past. Also, they have a new animated movie coming out.
Danger Lies Ahead (Adventures In Odyssey, #7) by Paul McCusker
2) Tuttle Twins Novels and Youtube episodes. This is an excellent way for kids to learn about very important ideas and ideals. The Tuttle Twins and the Golden Rule (Tuttle Twins, #6) by Connor Boyack
3) YWAM Publishing Heroes Biographies. To my knowledge YWAM Publishing has the best biographies for kids, both younger and older kids, anywhere. (There's also a Young Washington movie out about now for the 250 celebration.) Here's their website link: http://www.ywampublishing.com
George Washington True Patriot (Heroes of History) by Janet Benge
