Christa Blake Hi everyone! I'm looking for ARC readers for A Crown of Severed Vows — Book One of The Unbound Trilogy — and would love to find some readers who might enjoy it.

Wren Calloway cuts curses for silver out of a coastal tavern. She's been careful, for nine years, not to be seen doing it. Then a hooded fae walks in with dry sleeves on a day of pouring rain — and he's been looking for her for a long time.

It's a slow-burn, low-spice read — closed-door, no explicit content — so if you're looking for spicy this probably isn't your book, but if you love the longing and the tension and the slow build, I think you might enjoy it.

Tropes: fae-mortal • marriage of convenience • hidden heritage • working-class heroine • slow-burn • closed-door • trilogy concludes August 2026
For readers of: Naomi Novik, Katherine Arden, Susanna Clarke

ARC copies are available on Booksprout — you can find the link at https://christamblake.com — or feel free to DM me and I'll send the EPUB directly. All I ask in return is an honest review on Amazon or Goodreads whenever you're ready, no pressure on timing :)

Thanks so much for reading! 💙

Odarris Dhaiti Hi Christa,

I saw your post looking for ARC readers for A Crown of Severed Vows and the premise sounds fantastic! I am a big fan of the slow-burn, closed-door tension you described, and the dynamic between a working-class heroine and a mysterious fae definitely caught my attention.

I am a fellow author in the epic fantasy and romantasy space, and I wanted to reach out to see if you might be open to a read and review swap. I recently released my debut fantasy novella, The Dragon in the Line, which is currently available on Amazon.

I would love to read your EPUB and leave an honest review for you on Amazon and Goodreads to help with your launch. In exchange, I'd love to share the link to my review campaign for an honest review of my novella whenever you have the bandwidth. Just like you mentioned, I have absolutely no pressure on timing!

Let me know if you'd be interested! Since we both use Booksprout, I've included the link to my campaign below.

Best,

O'Darris
