Highly recommend Radical Tarot. Queering the Tarot and Red Tarot are also great.
Back in the 1980s (I'm way older than you), I was living in San Francisco, California. I bought some Tarot cards at a cramped used bookstore on Polk St. (gay mecca then, not sure if it still is. I don't live there anymore). I can't tell you how many people wanted me to do readings for them. Mind you, I didn't have any idea what I was doing, but they seemed happy with what I said. I think we all need some guidance now and then. Maybe just validation. Maybe the cards really do speak to us. I still have that deck. I should bring it out again.
Good lord, the Alexis Hall lore expands to incorporate tarot. Is there anything you haven’t done? I’m starting to think all the various author bios in your books aren’t elaborate pieces of fiction and that instead you’ve actually been giving your readers pieces of your life puzzle. Fascinating. Will give this book a try.

I've actually read both of those, and enjoyed them a lot. Reviews to come!

I think without needing to be predictive or cloak it in bullshit, tarot cards can encourage valuable self-reflection for most of us. I need to do more readings for folks, honestly.

I think I like to put at least a bit of truth in most of my nonsense ;)
