Thank you! All I can think about as I read this book is how her crappy dickhead male characters are treated like poor little victims. It’s nauseating.
it was so so bad. the jargon, playlists, plot holes, name dropping, stereotyping and elitism were all too much for me.
I do agree with a lot of this but I don’t think Lizbet or Magda were eligible for the weekly bonus because of their job rank 😄. The Richie thing really threw me off because why wouldn’t the hotel GM think it was a bigger deal that someone she hired was stealing guests credit card info…and kimber was going to stay with him? I think not!
I keep remembering the line about perimenopausal women doing the butterfly in yoga 🙄
I just DNFd this in audio and kept muttering "rape victim" as a response to the narration referring to Grace as his "mistress." I could tell early on that this was an absolute no for me.
