Aw, man. I would’ve loved to see him live. I stopped going to comicons around 2002, so just before there were celebs really hitting it (I saw some guy who was an OG Green Lantern artist, the guy who voiced Space Ghost on Coast to Coast, and a surly Brian Azzarello who was kind of a duck to me). The one and only VHS I still have from when I was a kid is Army of Darkness.
The snappy answer is definitely “Anyone who is not Bruce Campbell,” but that’s too easy, so I’m gonna say…hmm, I was set to name SIR Patrick Stewart because he seems like a serious actor guy, but that might actually be pretty funny…maybe Jerry Seinfeld? I feel like their personalities and styles don’t mesh.
If I had to pick a celebrity alternative who I think would be good…John Goodman. “Good” is right there in the name. What’d be your pick?

I read this! Forgot until now. Added to my book history. Saw him at a show in Toronto, he was exactly as he is.
