Sometimes, when I read your reviews (which never accompany a star rating) I am left wondering why that star rating is left off. Surely some books can be evaluated both qualitatively and quantitively. But I haven't the slightest clue how you would choose a number to accompany this sort of review.

I think a star rating would imply a value judgement and that feels weird/icky to me. As it is, I just share my thoughts.
