I was thinking about naming a character Andrew in this book. I guess it's lucky I didn't. 🤭

I came very close to naming many characters after some of my favourite naughty boys on Goodreads. Bobby made it because I needed a cute, friendly man's name beginning with 'B'. I also had another character pegged for Hank, figuring none of you would read it. 🤭

I'm so pleased I'm on your good side; at least I think I am? 🤔

pps: I'm interested you "needed" a guys name starting with a B. What made you think that? I often wonder how authors chiose character names. I often think the names are too similar and it's hard to keep characters straight. 🤷‍♂️

I would need to write an essay to answer how I choose names. Many, many reasons.

In this case, it was a cute, friendly sounding name with the alliterative quality for tacking on 'beta'... Beta Bobby becoming Alpha Man.
