Hello E. Travers,

I hope you are doing well.

I am Isadora Oliveira from the Goodreads Librarians Group. We are a large community with over 325,000 members who love finding books that stay with them long after the last page.

You are welcome to see our community here: https://www.goodreads.com/group/show/...

I came across Sing Crazy: A Sheridan Nash Mystery. We do not reach out to many authors, but your work stood out to us.

An electrifying and suspense-driven novel blending the vibrant energy of Nashville's music scene with the intensity of a high-stakes crime investigation, offering a fresh take on the mystery genre with a unique protagonist and a plot filled with twists, following Sheridan Nash a talented bass player navigating the unpredictable life of a working musician, when gigs are scarce Sheridan supplements her income through secretive investigative work that places her in the middle of dangerous situations, her latest case quickly escalating into a race against time as she uncovers a sinister plot involving abduction and imminent danger. Your story stands out for its dynamic combination of music culture and suspense, set in the heart of Music City capturing the rhythm of life as a performer while introducing a darker undercurrent of crime and urgency, Sheridan's journey taking her deep into a complex web of threats where her instincts, resilience, and courage are tested at every turn. Inspired by the realities of life in the music industry and the allure of classic country storytelling, you craft a narrative that is both entertaining and immersive, drawing its title from a well-known song in Nashville's musical tradition reinforcing the connection between artistry and narrative tension. That blend of fast-paced mystery, music-inspired storytelling, and a bold unconventional heroine is thrilling, engaging, and deeply compelling.

Right now, we are preparing our 2026 Author Spotlight Program. This is not a badge or a one-time post. It is a full 12 month partnership where your book lives at the center of our community. We are only choosing 12 authors this cycle.

Here is what that means for you.

We build a dedicated home for Sing Crazy inside our group. A space where readers can find you, talk about your characters, and stay connected to your work. We create discussion threads that spark real conversation. We send monthly reminders so your book stays in front of fresh eyes. And we personally introduce you to our most engaged members who love mysteries, crime fiction, music-inspired storytelling, and character-driven suspense with strong protagonists.

We also sit with your book. We learn its themes, its quiet moments, its questions. Then we talk about it the right way. Not like a product. Like a story that matters.

Here is why authors choose this program.

Most authors write beautiful books and then watch them disappear into the noise. Readers are busy. Attention is short. The usual way does not work anymore.

We do the opposite. We stay with your book for an entire year. We keep the conversation alive. We put your work in front of readers who are already looking for something meaningful.

Authors who have done this tell us they feel seen for the first time. Some sold more books. Many built a loyal reader base that follows their future work. But the thing they mention most is relief. Relief that someone is finally working hard to get their book into the right hands.

We are not a publisher. We do not want your rights. We are simply a bridge between you and over 325,000 readers who trust what we recommend.

We are finalizing our list for 2026. A few spots remain. When I read Sing Crazy, I felt strongly that you should be one of them.

Are you open to me sending over a one page overview of how our system works? Just a yes is fine.

Best Regards,

Isadora Oliveira

Hi E.

Firstly please don't use this folder for anything. It is for staff to announce changes in policy & there are so many stickied posts that new ones just disappear from view. If you have a question that doesn't involve book edits put your question in the Questions folder.

Saying that, this is nothing to do with volunteer librarians. We help maintain the database & stuff like that.

This is a scam. I doubt if there is anything Support (staff) can do, but here is where you contact them;

If you have your email displayed anywhere on Goodreads I would recommend removing it.

Good luck!
