I’m listening to it now- Guite reads it himself and it’s just a delight!
I can’t wait to listen to this for our summer morning time. Just what we need. :)
He is coming up to the camp we live and work at as a keynote speaker at a conference in the fall! I am unfamiliar with his work but I’m excited to hear what he has to say! I better prepare and read something of his!
I saw malcolm on a random youtube video smoking pipe and talking abouy this book. He spoke of his mother reading him arthurian legend as a child. I don't know why but i was entranced by his interview and what he said of the story of the fisher king. As soon as i knew he had a book i set out on my own quest to find it. After checking with b and n and amazon and a local bookstore to order for me, i bought the audiobook. Its beautiful to listen to, malcolm tells the tale beautifully. I bought the book direct from rabbit room and am reading it now. I don't usually like poetry, but this book and story is entrancing. The illustrations in the book too are excellent. All in all, this is a new favorite book. I will be preordering the second and can't wait.
