Thank you, Panda, for your feedback. Being a half sibling as well as a mother and stepmother of half siblings, I can say from experience that sometimes there are circumstances that prevent half siblings from spending more time together than what's alotted in custody agreements. I think the assumption can be that Mari and Luz do spend more time together than just the weekends, but because this book is just a snapshot in time that wasn't necessarily part of the story to talk about all the times they spend together. The main theme was that half siblings are siblings no matter where they are or how much time they spend together. I appreciate your honesty and your time to leave a review.
